With our 'new commitment' fresh in our minds and hearts we acquired several pieces of heavy equipment including a portable sawmill. In 2022 we not only began sourcing timber cut from charred forests in our area, but downed trees also destined for a chipping machine. After milling we carefully air dry each slab. Our goal for 2023 is to make or purchase our own kiln for drying so that we are able to handcraft them 'into works of art' even sooner!
